BRANDI LEA WINE OFFICIAL

	My name is Brandi Lea Wine. I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on a cold Friday on December 12, 1980 to my parents Michael & Melinda. I was raised by my great grandparents to whom I owe my life to; sadly they passed away when I was 24 years old. I have them to thank for I have respect, honesty, old world views thoughts and ways of life that are firmly etched on my heart, mind and soul. I live and die by the Golden Rule, my life is literally based solely upon this rule. I was lucky enough to travel the world as a child, from Germany/Europe to Alaska to Hawaii to the Bahamas. I was always a good student in school always made good grades and seemed to excel in all studies with minimal effort. While in high school I also attended Francis Tuttle to study Automotive Mechanics, I actually at one point had the car company Ford wanting to hire me; I was the only female in that study and excelled in it as well.
	I have also attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) for seven years nearly always making the Presidents Honor Roll, I’m highly educated in Psychology(my love my passion) Sociology and Computer Science. I have two children, a fourteen year old son who is a freshman in high school and a six year old son who is in first grade; they are my world and my everything. I first got into modeling when I was 22 years old long before social media was a way of life. I modeled a couple of years and because life and life changes that seemed to take over and the birth of my second son, I decided to no longer pursue modeling and to devote my time as a full time mother to my children. In 2007 six weeks after the birth of my second son I went for a routine doctor checkup had some normal tests ran and a week later got a phone call from my doctor telling me I had cervical cancer, I remember her telling me this and it didn’t hit me until after I got off the phone what she had actually told me, all I could think was Brandi age of 26 mother of 8 yr. old and 7 week old boys that had cervical cancer. I was told I needed to come see her to talk about options treatments etc.
	I’ve never felt so scared in my life I had no one to turn to no one to talk to I felt so alone. That is why I plan to not only pursue my modeling career but hope to become an advocate for the American Cancer Society advocating for women who have it, are going through it and for those of us who have survived or have lost loved ones. No one should go it alone as it seemed I did with no resources or support. So, by May 2008 my only option to save my life was to have a full hysterectomy, and that is what I did. I stared cancer in the face and I didn’t back down, I never back down because I will not admit nor submit to defeat not me, and luckily I came out the winner! I want to empower, motivate and inspire all and any who are willing. Anywhere from advocating for cancer something that once threatened to take my life and take the only mother to my two boys or helping to be an inspiration to and for all! I get countless emails from people saying how brave I am and they wish they could be that brave and how I help to inspire them every day, little do they know that its people like that who are actually inspiring me to do what I do every day, if they only knew huh?

To me no amount of money could ever compare to the feeling you get when you help someone or inspire or motivate, no amount of money could come close to that feeling, ever! Fast forward to August 2012 I decided since it had been almost a decade since my last photo shoot that I would get together with my pin up friend who was also a photographer and we I did my first shoot and I must say I still got it after all these years! I didn’t think twice about it posted the pictures on Facebook and before I knew it I was modeling more representing companies I’m on a pin up calendar as Miss December 2013 I have been featured on a lot of web pages etc. I basically ceased an opportunity given to me and have ran with it and plan to only to good and positive things with my beautiful monster as I affectionately like to refer to my career. If you truly want to know why I do what I do, I do it for all sexes, ages & race.

I believe PASSION drives all humans, from a passion to rob a bank to being a rocket scientist. Passion drives me to do what I do every day! I have after all these years broke through my chains that I now see I allowed to keep me down, and now that I have freed myself from myself I can now be that Pink Star that laid dormant for so many years. I’m far from perfect and I am so much deeper than a pretty face. I don’t see what everyone else sees and I know that is my silver lining keeps me grounded and humbled and ever so appreciative of the many people who love and support me in my decisions in life. I believe you have to surround yourself with people who will stand BESIDE you not behind or in front of you, no matter what titles I may hold, I look at everyone as being my equal I am no better then you and you are no better than I. I know how blessed I am to have been born with what I feel is equal amounts of street, book & common sense smarts. But above all, all I have to offer anyone is ME, that’s all I know how to be and I wouldn’t want to be anybody but me! I also know some people will not like me for whatever reasons they tell themselves, its ok we are all human. What matters is I love myself every bit of me including my many flaws and all, wish we could all just realize that despite what we may think it is so much easier to love yourself for you then to not love yourself and be unhappy for a lifetime. My plan is to paint the world PINK!
